Mainstream Engineering Awarded Contract from the U.S. Navy for a Silent Shipboard Electronics Enclosure Cooling System

ROCKLEDGE, FL – April 10th, 2013 – Mainstream Engineering Corporation, a 27-year-old Brevard County research and manufacturing company, has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Navy to develop a silent, active thermal management system for shipboard electronics. Mainstream will develop a “silent” thermal management system for shipboard control electronics for Ohio-class submarines. The thermal management system leverages Mainstream’s thermal control design expertise, and prior hardware configurations to obtain a rapid transition to the Navy.

“These new programs create local jobs, and all our products are made in the USA” stated Dr. Robert P. Scaringe, President, and Founder of Mainstream Engineering.
