ROCKLEDGE, FL – April 10th, 2013 – Mainstream Engineering Corporation, a 27-year-old Brevard County research and manufacturing company, has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Navy to develop a silent, active thermal management system for shipboard electronics. Mainstream will develop a “silent” thermal management system for shipboard control electronics for Ohio-class submarines. The thermal management system leverages Mainstream’s thermal control design expertise, and prior hardware configurations to obtain a rapid transition to the Navy.
