Mainstream Engineering Awarded Contract from the US Air Force for an Advanced Vapor Compression Cooling Module

ROCKLEDGE, FL — 06/27/2019 — Mainstream Engineering Corporation has been awarded a contract from the U.S Air Force to demonstrate an Advanced Vapor Compression Cooling Module.

Upgrades and/or addition of advanced on-board electronics into today’s Air Force aircraft has resulted in increased demands for cooling of the new electronics and typically very little space or power is available to provide this cooling.  Mainstream is developing a family of lightweight, highly-efficient, compact modules to provide cooling for the increased demand.
