Mainstream Engineering Awarded Contract from the Department of Energy for Low-Cost Solar Collector

ROCKLEDGE, FL – March 14th, 2013 – Mainstream Engineering Corporation, a leading research and development company specializing in advanced thermal control and energy conversion, has been awarded a contract from the Department of Energy to develop a low-cost flat-panel solar collector for hot water heating applications. By reducing the cost of collectors, Mainstream’s new design will help to improve the financial incentives to installing solar systems.
