ROCKLEDGE, FL — December 5, 2018 — Mainstream Engineering Corporation, a 32-year-old Brevard County manufacturer with a history of leading-edge research and development that has resulted in advanced, lean-manufacturing, cost-competitive products, which are all Made in the USA, has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Army for a High-Temperature Motor Drive.

With the growing vehicle electrical power requirements in military vehicle systems, the need for advanced high-temperature motor drives has increased dramatically. This advanced motor drive must account for safety, efficiency, scalability, configurability, and remote interactive control. Mainstream’s design also incorporates fault detection and built-in diagnostics in a compact device suitable for use in military ground vehicles.
