Mainstream Engineering Awarded Contract from the Department of Energy to Develop Improved Gas Separation Membranes

ROCKLEDGE, FL — [October 17, 2019] — Mainstream Engineering Corporation has been awarded a contract from the Department of Energy to develop improved gas separation membranes. Traditional gas separation processes have inherent weaknesses that prevent them from achieving perfect selectivity. Mainstream Engineering is partnering with Temple University to develop improved gas separation membranes which will reduce the cost of gas separation processes.
