Mainstream performed advanced testing of these oxygen second-generation solvent replacements used for cleaning hydrocarbon and fluorocarbon residues from oxygen systems. Our researchers are in the process of spinning off this technology to expand our commercial QwikProducts™ product line in the HVAC/R industry.

The cost of the recommended solvent replacement was less than the Air Force cost goal. Thus, this program was a tremendous success and resulted in the development of a suitable CFC-113 replacement solvent that is ready for use in both commercial and military applications.
